1 – Confirm your desired rental period
Send us your request via the “Reservation Request” form or by phone.

Nestled in the charming village of Marseillan, just 30 minutes from Sète, 13 minutes from Cap d’Agde, 31 minutes from Balaruc-les-Bains and Béziers, and 50 minutes from Montpellier.
Our home is ideally located — within walking distance of all amenities, and only a few minutes from the sandy beaches by car or bike via the cycle path.
We’re just 250 metres from the Thau Lagoon and its cycle trails, and 550 metres from the heart of Marseillan with all its shops: bakery, butcher, cafés, boutiques, restaurants, pharmacy, and more.
You’ll love discovering the picturesque port of Marseillan, enjoying fresh seafood, browsing colourful local markets, and exploring the region’s natural and historical treasures.

The rental is located on the upper floor of our house, with a separate private entrance and a fully private garden with a SPA.
No parking worries! The house is at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac — you can park right in front of the gate or in the private street.

You’ll receive the keys to the house upon arrival.
As we may not always be available in person, a key safe is provided for your convenience.
We will send you the access code 48 hours before your arrival.
Check-in: Between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM, after arranging a time during the week prior to your stay.
For arrivals after 5:00 PM, the key safe will be used — the code will be sent to you beforehand.

Check-in and check-out inventory
📝 Upon Arrival
As soon as you arrive, you'll be shown your holiday rental and provided with all the essential information for your stay.
You will also receive the check-in inventory report (état des lieux d’entrée).
For weekly stays, you have 48 hours to report any observations or concerns.
Upon arrival, we kindly ask for the following security deposits:

Your deposits will be fully returned if no damage is found during the final inspection.
In case of any breakage, a deduction may be made based on the cost (with invoice provided).
Terms of Payment
💳 Payment Terms
✅ For bookings made more than 15 days before the start of your stay:
A 30% deposit of the total rental amount is required.
It is due upon signature of the rental agreement and will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
The remaining balance must be paid:

either by bank transfer or cheque, no later than 15 days before the start of the stay,
-
or in cash upon arrival.
⏳ For bookings made less than 15 days before the start of your stay:
100% of the rental amount is required upfront.
This payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
🛡️ We strongly recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance,
to ensure reimbursement in the event of a cancellation or postponement of your stay.
🏠 Rental liability insurance (mandatory):
We also require guests to take out “Villégiature” holiday rental liability insurance with their insurance provider.
This insurance must cover any damages (fire, water damage, explosion, etc.) that may occur during the stay, caused by the guest or their companions.
A certificate of insurance, issued in the guest’s name, must be sent to the owner at least 15 days before arrival.
This coverage is generally free of charge from your regular insurance provider.
🏷️ Tourist Tax
Tourist tax is payable on arrival, in cash or by cheque made out to Mr. or Mrs. CARA.
This tax applies per night and per adult guest, based on real stay duration (unclassified accommodation).
The total collected is fully transferred to the Thau Archipelago local authority.

Bonus for dog lovers: You can walk your dog along the shore as far as access points 72/73 of Plage Vassal in Sète, where dogs are allowed to roam freely by the sea.

Plage d’Honneur is popular thanks to its proximity to the Marseillan port, home to many leisure activity providers.
Try your hand at kitesurfing, parasailing, scuba diving, or simply rent a stand-up paddleboard or canoe — solo, with family, or as a couple.

For your children’s safety, there are 5 lifeguard stations along the three main beaches, open from mid-June to mid-September.
They are also equipped with beach wheelchairs (tiralo) for people with reduced mobility.

On the Marseillan-Ville side, you can also enjoy La Plagette, a small beach with stunning views over the Thau Lagoon.
Perfect for children, it offers a playground, skatepark, picnic tables, and barbecue areas. The spot is also known for its abundance of small shells and seafood, easy for kids to collect — and for its friendly, laid-back atmosphere.

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Angle cove and the lagoon, this medieval village wrapped in its ramparts invites you to wander through its picturesque narrow streets and soak up its historic charm.
France’s leading spa resort, once frequented by Louis Bonaparte in the 19th century. Come to enjoy the benefits of its thermal waters, stroll through the flower-filled Ancient Mediterranean Garden, or along the scenic promenade that borders the Thau Lagoon.
The birthplace of shellfish farming, this delightful fishing village has earned the “Remarkable Taste Site” label. Bouzigues lives from oyster and mussel farming. Frontignan is the home of Muscat wine, best enjoyed by the lagoon. Nestled between former salt marshes, a 7 km beach, and the Gardiole Massif, the town is the perfect starting point for walks through unique landscapes.
